I'd be interested in knowing other Trading Companies that others use please if you wouldn't mind sharing. Thanks.Albermarle said:
Just to be fair that is only a matter of opinion.LukeForrest said:Personally I would transfer to HL, I have everything on there including my pension and they are by far the best platform out there. May be worth looking into transferring it into your tax free isa allowance if you want to hold onto them for longer.
Although it is clear Equiniti are expensive, HL have more direct competitors that also do a good job, and have more competitive pricing.

I transferred Marks & Spencer’s Shares that I have held for years from Equiniti last year to Fidelity. I sent in the share certificates to Fidelity along with a transfer form and within 2 weeks or so they appeared in my Fidelity GIA. Should be even more straight forward to transfer in your case as the shares are already held electronically in a Nominee account at Equiniti. Fidelity are slightly cheaper than HL, at £7.50 rather than HL’s £11.95 to sell shares.RichNotYet said:

Mrs Notepad used iweb ( https://www.iweb-sharedealing.co.uk ) last year to transfer in two lots of shares, they were in her account within a few days of posting them off. Iweb normally have a £100 account opening fee, but it's currently free. They don't have any percentage platform fee, you just have to pay a £5 dealing commission fee to buy or sell.RichNotYet said:

X-O ( https://www.x-o.co.uk ) is also frequently mentioned as a good cheap platform to transfer shares to when topics such as this come up.1 -
I was not referring to share trading specifically. The poster had mentioned that HL were the best for SIPP's as well.RichNotYet said:

Some of these platforms are multifunctional and some are more geared to one activity than another, so it depends exactly what you want to do.1
