CaptainRock said:https://www.classicadditions.comI really want to protect the car from bird droppings. Instead of a roof of some sort (which I really wanted), the next best will be a full cover for the car.I came across the above website. Good quality and not too expensive either. It will be a pain having to put the cover on and taking it off, but having bird muck on the car would really get on my nerves!
I've parked on the road outside my house for 30 years and never had a particular problem with bird droppings. Having a car cover will mean having somewhere to store it when not in use, and it may also need cleaning from time to time. Maybe look at one of those retractable awnings?0 -
Whatever the legal technicalities of driving across a footpath to access a property, councils have been known to install bollards in areas where people driving across grassed areas is a problem. There have even been instances in the local press where people have found their cars 'land locked' with bollards preventing them getting back onto the road.
