Just changed black cartridge on my printer ( the one where you pay a monthly fee). All went ok except it now does not print black.
Trying to find a HP help number to ring but finding it very difficult to contact them.
Has anyone had any success in talking to them about a fault.
Thanks

Have you tried printing a test page/ cleaning the head?
Silly question but there is definitely ink in the new cartridge? Is it an original cartridge or copy?
Does the printer throw up any messages?
Is the printer set to use the colour cartridge as black and is stuck on that setting?
What's the model ?0 -
Have you had a chat with "Virtual Assistant".... I think if it can't help / resolve, it puts you through to a real person0

Cartridge supplied by HP.
No messages from printer/
will investigate the colour cartridge as you suggest.Model HP 2710e/
I have had a rethink. HP sent me a new cartridge some while back but as it kept on printing I did not change it,
But yesterday I was printing a document and it printed half then printed blank.
I thought cartridge was empty so changed it and here we are.
I am now thinking it is nothing to do with changing the cartridge but a fault with black printing that happened on the old cartridge.0 -
