Morning. Slow start today after a fairly long day of overtime yesterday. Got some chores to do and need to pop to &sda. I was going to do an exercise class but it’s either full or it’s been cancelled and I’m not paying £15 for yoga. Later on I’ll try and start on my next knitting project. Weather is a bit grey and drizzly here.0 bonus saver

Ah, yes! And that walk up to the folly and back would probably take more than two hours. Whatever you do, have a fab time. I haven't forgotten it's your birthday tomorrowalthough your card hasn't made it to the post.

Hello all, I'm still reading along. The nurse has just been in for today and all is ok.
I had a flying visit from DD yesterday as she has a sore throat and didn't want to give me her germs so now Mr Fix It will be trying to wash my hair later instead, wish me luck. This afternoon he's also going to make a corned beef pie for tea, I'll need to get back on the diet, I feel like I've put on stones! I think I'll keep him a bit longer, he's a gem.
Happy birthday Snoozer, have a great day.
Dp1 hopefully your dad will feel better now he's back home. Hugs to all of you.
Have a good day everyone, hugs to all the poorlies and hi to the Mia,s.

Morning all
A bit of drizzle here but it’s meant to brighten up later on, yesterday I spent a lovely few hours in the garden cutting last years growth back and preparing for this years, I planted the magnolia tree with some help from OH and planted some bulbs, if the rain stops I might go out and jet wash the patio as it’s looking a bit grubby I can’t wait to get planting !
Happy Birthday Snoozer have a great day xx
Nan nice to see you posting xx
DP1 I’m glad your dad is home xx
TA I think I might be guilty of doing a supermarket sweep when I take my mum shopping 😂😂 I hate shopping with a passion and am in and out of the supermarket within about 1/2 hr, last time I took mum I had finished paid and packed it into the car and went back in to find her up the second aisle 😂
Mum is coming for dinner today she has got us a leg of lamb which is a lovely treat I shall do a cauli cheese, broccoli and cabbage and roasties of course and hm gravy.
Have good days all and take care xx9 -

Nothing much on the agenda today, a wash is about to be put in the machine and there is a little ironing to do later after that the day is my own.

Morning! Nothing muchhappening here..I started tidying the garden yesterday, putting down the old compost mixed with leaves, raking the cat poo, trimming stuff down etc, that meant of course a whole slew of jobs to do before seed sowing, so after I'd finished them, I was pooped, fell asleep on the sofa for an hour and a half so no seed sowing was done...Never mind, I'll hopefully do it after...Everything is ready now so no impediments to the job...Snoozer, Happy Birthday!! dp1, glad your dad is home...nanny, glad you're doing well! corned beef pie, been an age since I had one of those, my father used to be the one who made them...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8

Afternoon all, seems to be brightening up a bit after some heavy rain when we were stood on an exposed sports field watching DGD busy keeping the football out of her net! She won Player of the match, which boosted her confidence after a heavy loss last week. At home for the rest of the day now.We decided to go out for an early curry last night, very nice too.The MS bit was using the bus passes
Unfortunately when we came out and waited at the stop, I realised that after 8pm they go to every 2 hours so we had to get a taxi.
Not sure what time DS is due back from his weekend away but as he's not here yet I presume they're doing another walk or something as they had to be out of the Airbnb by 10.I'm doing some ham shanks for tea, DH really enjoyed them last time, from MnS in a deal. They're in a kind of sous-vide pack so just need heating up.Happy Birthday Snoozer, hope you have a nice day. I'm another of those who couldn't get my SP until 66, when I was expecting it at 60.Dp1, I remember my D Gran having to liquidise all my DGDads food. Hope your DM manages but glad he's more settled at home now.Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Popping in to say
Happy Birthday Snoozer
DP1 good news that your dad is home. Re The pip they had put another appeal in following his tribunal for the original claim which they refused. It didn’t relate to his new claim which we sent in last December as we had been given incorrect advice when he had his accident so not heard anything about that yet.
Nanny - nice to hear from you, glad Mr Fix it is looking after you.
