There are two things going on at NU at the moment.

1) Special bonus which is 3.6% on top of the normal bonus rate each year for the next 3 years (on qualifying plans). (first payment due into the plan in Dec 08 based on January 08 value).

2) The reattribution of orphaned assets/estate. That is the long running saga that appears to have been agreed now (although FSA have to rubber stamp it). That will see an average £1000 cash bonus paid direct to policyholder (minimum is £400).

Brill so some money coming my way on top of that, wonder why I havent recieved any infomation on it. Hubby and I have a split endowment of £35k each any idea to the the kind of sum we may be due it was taken out in 1999?

does anyone have any more news on the norwich union payout and when and how much it is likely to be?? i suppose that with things as they are, the first estimates are likely to go down??
