Hi,
I can't find a definitive answer online. I have a 73 plate Ford Kuga ST Line X Edition PHEV on order from stock (company car) and I'm getting conflicting info on whether it'll have LED headlights. The spec sheet we were sent just shows 'auto headlamps'. The Ford website suggests all trims Titanium and above, do have LED headlights. Some motor parts websites list halogen bulbs for my registration and list no available bulbs for some other Kuga registrations. Other motor parts websites list Halogen bulbs for all Kuga registrations I've put in. Car review websites suggest all recent Kugas, Titanium trim and above, do have LEDs. I've just seen a Kuga ad online and the lights on the photo look almost halogen (though maybe a bit whiter).

Motor parts websites are unreliable. I can buy a coil pack for my daughters diesel engined car.Every single tail light bulb has been wrong also.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1

Try the ford kuga forum, I’m sure you can get a definitive answer on there..1

Ask the Dealer you are buying from for a definitive statement in writing.
It is easy for a Ford dealer to access the equivalent of the old Ford Etis system and print out the 'as built' specification of any individual vehicle. (It used to be that one could do it as an individual).
I have the Etis data for our last 63 plate Galaxy that had HID headlamps, but not for our current 19 plate which is halogen, as Ford had changed access by then.
Auto headlamps is pretty meaningless... pretty much all Fords have an auto lighting position (so they come on in low light conditions) and mine has auto-main beam / dipping.
EDIT Reading the 2022 printed specs brochure may also help? https://www.ford.co.uk/content/dam/guxeu/uk/documents/brochures/cars/BRO-GBR_en_Kuga_23.25.pdf
Seems halogen is on Zetec only... all others get LED
But there are variations on the LEDs and optional upgrades possible.

Although it's a bit of a moot point if it's an already ordered from stock company car. You'll find out which it has when it's delivered.1

It's now been delivered. It does indeed have LED headlights!
