  • Call, email or use X but make sure no exit fees due first unless you have calculated that already.

I'm confused. I have emailed twice and they have said there is fee to switch back to the variable tracker, but i thought the version 1 loyalty fix that I signed up for had no exit fees???

There are many different versions of "Loyal Octopus".  More recently they dropped exit fees, but many last year did have them.  My Loyal Octopus 12M Fixed September 2023 v1 has £75 per fuel exit fee.  You should/would have been told of any exit fees at the time you signed up to the fix.

Your current tariff and any exit fees are shown on your bills.  Also if you log into your Octopus account you can see your entire email history from them, they would have emailed you your tariff details when you switched, including any exit fees.  Email in my case was titled "FYI: Changes to your tariff"
