Is backdated WPA not classed as savings for a year if on UC? Also can I split the money between my kids?

you would be best posting on the benefits board, there are a few posts on there relating to backdating WPA benefits.
However, giving money that is rightfully yours away would likely end up with it being treated as deprivation and notional capital (where they still treat you as if you have the money)0 -
Thankyou I will go on that thread0
