Flux from April?

It's tariff change time approaching again. Has anyone who stayed on Flux over winter had an email telling them what the new prices will be from 1st April? Just wondering if it'll be worth switching back from Agile...

Yes - came through this morning. But doesn't it vary depending on region?
  • It does. But any clue on prices and region would be interesting. Thanks.

South west. Stayed on Flux over the winter and was paid £42.50 export Nov - Feb inc. Moving to flat rate would have been only £14.30 better, so it just wasn't worth the time and effort. New rates are: import 34.5 peak, 14.8 night and 24.7 day. Export 25.1 peak, 5.4 night and 15.15 day. The headline though is the standing charge going up 27.8%!

I'll change back to Flux when we're exporting a bit more than importing each day, for a week or so. Up to now we've had very little spring sunshine.

  • Anyone have the prices for the Eastern region from 1st April as we may well switch from Agile to flux.

South Eastern England (I think - my postal address is in London and Octopus doesn’t seem to include the region in the letter):
    Standing charge: 54.831p
    Import: 35.409p, 15.175p, 25.292p
    Export: 25.940p, 5.706p, 15.652p
    (peak, flux, day)
  • Thanks Amanda. If your current import rates are 41.62,17.84, 29.73p you're in London. The South East import rates are 41.13, 17.63, 29.38p. The region changes halfway down my road.

Thanks for posting them figures I was on flux last summer but moved over today from go/export lite over to agile with standard export at 15p.

There's so little difference on the export rate on flux and I can benefit from the cheaper import rates when agile is low and 42p standing charge. Panels are south east facing so don't really benefit from the higher 4-7 rates.

Also unsure if as of next month with the reduction in import rates Octopus will look to reduce the export costs too.
