Where do i get my customer number from?
Every time i try and register online for internet banking using my account number and card it just goes straight to an error message? Has anyone else had this, dont want to miss out on the switch offer!
Do i need to recieve more things beyond just my card?

This has been answered in the NatWest/RBS/Ulster £200 Switching Offer- 15/2/2024 thread. It takes around 48 hours for your account to be set up for digital banking. If you keep trying to register and keep getting the error message you will be locked out for 48 hours, further delaying the process.

It said i can reregister with just my bank account and card online? The customer number they sent doesnt seem right....the four digits at the end are 00000

I got my customer number with account number, sort code via a text message. Day after completing the ID check0

Have you had a NatWest account before? When I switched the number they sent me also had four zeroes at the end, obviously not correct whereas the one from RBS was. I ended up waiting for the debit card and registering that way.IAMIAM said:It said i can reregister with just my bank account and card online? In that case it wants you to use your previous login details, as it did me. If you can't use the DC to reregister, then the only thing I can think of is to phone them.0

Maybe a different situation, i had previous natwest online banking customer number but no accounts, when i opened the new Natwest current account i expected it to show on my existing online banking, gave it a few days but it never appeared. I had to phone Natwest and they got me set up with a new customer number.0
