Qdr solution letter

I got a ticket from one park solution back in October which was not paid and they then sent letter from zzps then they passed it onto gctt, then now they’ve passed it onto qdr solicitors. It’s been 5 months now and nothing serious but now it’s to solicitors, the fine began at £100 now it’s £170. I’m thinking about paying it because it’s in my mind but I think that’s what they are trying to do, shall I pay it or ignore it and they’ll eventually give it up

  • Forgot to mention it was a pcn ticket on the windscreen not a camera ticket
  • Also forgot to mention, I stayed over night at a council estate, and in the morning overslept and woke up to the ticket

Where on here are you advised to just "pay it"? Have you read the Newbies/FAQ thread yet?

If/when you read the Newbies/FAQ thread you will know that you are advised to ignore the debt collectors. They are powerless and not a party to the alleged breach of contract between the driver and the parking company.

Have another careful read of the letter from QDR and try and understand who has instructed them to write to you. Would we be correct in assuming that it is one of the debt collectors who have supposedly "instructed" them to give you 14 days to pay the charge? QDR are just another intellectually malnourished bunch of people who are in on the scam to try and get you to pay up by scaring you with legalese and words like "CCJ" and "bailiff".

If/when you ever receive a real Letter of Claim (all explained in the Newbies/FAQ thread), go back and re-read the second post in that thread and tell us about it. Until then, just carry on with your life and ignore everything else abut this.

If the postal Notice to Keeper (sent a month after a windscreen PCN) has 'BHCC' before the site name (top right) then it's a NON-POFA PCN and it can't hold you liable.  Do not pay.  Do not say who was driving.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
