  • PS. The bank are mid investigation and have promised an outcome by the 17th of April. I'll post the outcome here, hopefully it can educate others!

    Card fraud is one of 2 types. lost/stolen card where card is physically used.
    Or card details compromised. Which can be anywhere card is used, either online or in a store. All they need is card number & possibly exp/cvv.
    2nd no matter what even if finding out where & when is not going to help you 🤷‍♀️

    Think like the British Airways compromise where hackers had added a extra layer into the payment process that simply captured the card details.
