Click and drop problem with system

On 7th March 2024, very late in the evening, I went onto Post Office system as I have done many times. Started a click and drop for my parcel, which I wanted collected, Tracked48. The system flashed up that collection wasn’t working but one of the options was I could take to Post Office locally, without further charge. I did this and when i got home I got a message saying 16p had been taken from my account to pay for this.. only 16p but its the principal…. I messaged Royal Mail and they are asking for proof, ie a screen shot of the problem.. i dont have this because i believed what i read.. Interested if anyone else had this problem please.

Post Office and Royal Mail are separate companies. Drop off a Tracked 24/48 service at Post Office and it charges 16p. Are you sure it didn't suggest dropping it off at the Royal Mail delivery centre for free?1
