Morning! It is trying to be sunny which is nice. Got the blind man [ always makes me chuckle] coming today to measure. I just don't trust myself to do it, I've fallen into the habit of letting other people do stuff I would have done in heartbeat previously. But whereas before I would feel guilty, now, nope...Then I have to work out how to empty the freezer for tomorrow. I usually do the duvet trick when defrosting it, hoping the wooly blanket trick will work this time otherwise I'm in for a lot of cooking over the weekend. I have also given myself more work to do. I knitted a cover for my sewing chair a long time ago and now I'm sick of it, so I took it off and now I have to make another with something, either fabric or more crochet...I suppose it'll use up some wool though
Got the dishes to do and clean the kitchen before he comes along with move some boxes round. I sorted my seeds out yesterday, should only take me a month to sow what I want to grow! Perhaps I'm being slightly over ambitious there...but garden pottering is one of my favourite things to do so I'll be treating myself doing that.
Izzy, maybe phone the docs and make an appointment just to set my your mind at rest? TA, don't worry, you're supposed to have a birthday week aren't you? Or is that a month? can never rememberES, welcome! Allie, good to hear it went well...Ruby, hope your phone gets replaced asap..Nanny, lovely to see you posting, good to hear it went well too, now, waggy finger, do nothing! Gers, hope you enjoy the day, rest up to you too...WL, enjoy your travels! snoozer, well it sounds quiet for a change, long may it last!
and yes, I hear some horror stories about pain management and misdiagnosing and not taking seriously. When I was diagnosed a couple of years ago, my friend sent me an article with the statistics about life expectancy men v women, womens were atrocious because mae symptoms are what's looked for, not female symptoms, plus the not taking seriously about pain etc...it did not cheer me up that's for sure. Anyway, onwards etc, so have a good day all if you can.....SO, hope you're girding your loins for another try...

Morning all, thanks nmlc.Good to see you posting Nan, take it easy.AA glad your Dads op went well.Raining here again. DS1 is off to North Wales tomorrow for the weekend and has asked me to re-rainproof his outdoor gear. He showed me on the map, then I spent a happy half hour travelling round googlemaps revisiting the childhood holiday places
Don't remember it raining, mind you it wasn't March
, we used to go in June.
DGS was in a very chatty mood on the way home last night, but we didn't see DGD who hurt her knee in PE & couldn't go to her football training and so went to her Mums.Lunch with the cousins was nice, one missing due to covid. The place was very busy. Lots of chatting, we haven't met since December as our cousin's wife ( who we count as a cuz) had a mini stroke just before Xmas & can't drive again yet so they both came. She's doing well though looked tired.I've taken some chicken breasts out for tea, quick and easy after school pick up.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
