Depends entirely on when you bought it and when you sell it. Different time periods will give different results. That's the nature of investing. Asset prices do fall as well as rise.1

According to Vanguard:
- Based on these numbers, Vanguard expects a recovery period of between 30-40 months for LifeStrategy 20% investors, and 24-31 months for LifeStrategy 40% investors.
