I am going around in circles with Amazon they are saying i violated the returns and refund policy which i have not i only started to use my account last year i returned some stuff which was not as described or poor quality ,i am going back and forth with emails and calls with them since 2023 ,my account is restricted ,i can only buy digital and i have money in my account £37 which i can not afford to loose but they will not refund me to my bank account ,i do not now where to go from here?

Sounds like there are at least two separate issues at play here.
From a consumer rights perspective, you're entitled to a cash refund if you purchase faulty goods online and return them promptly.
From an Amazon account perspective, if you open an account, make some purchases, and return a significant proportion of them, they're entitled to decide that they don't want to do business with you anymore.
The latter doesn't trump the former....1 -

How have you violated the returns and refund policy?
I assume that for each item you clicked the 'Return items' button and followed the step-by-step instructions?0 -
How have you ended up with a credit on your account? Amazon normally refund direct to payment method unless you specify a gift card.
3 or 4 items returned out of how many though?1 -

So 3 or 4 in a year is quite high.
If I was OP, I would not be buying digital goods. As once account is closed down. That is them gone.
Last item I bought, 2 pack of Caulk was missing one on arrival. Reported for this & wanted to return. Offered refund back to card or credit on amazon acc. Took the refund on amazon acc & bought another pack. Bonus, said no need to return as well.Life in the slow lane0
