Tenth Anniversary 10 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
Just received enegy bill from British Gas, Although I have smart meters all of the readings shown are ESTIMATED (BG capials not mine) which would be fine, except when I look at the BG app on my phone I can see the usage from the smart meters. Question if BG are receiving the information why do they not use it? (Bill is around £100 higher than it should be)

    I have the same problem although electric seems to be working properly, it's just the gas that's a problem. Have used BG chat to complain 2 or 3 times that my smart display is not working properly. They said it's ok, we are still getting your meter readings. After prolonged discussion they finally admit there is a network error, they are aware and dealing with it but this been going on for about 2 years. Now I'm getting emails to supply meter readings for gas. I look back through my bills and find readings have been estimated for some time and prior to the last price change, even though when I have checked my account and it said (at the price change), we have your latest readings you do not have to supply us with them.

    Just being stonewalled at every turn.
