Hi. I was wondering if someone could help me. My goddaughter has been received DLA for roughly 3 years. We had a phone call today saying that they sent paperwork out in October of last year, which we never received, and because it was not filled out and no contact had been made, the claim has been closed and we need to now re-apply. Is there anything that can be done to re-open the case?

Your goddaughter's parents should call the DWP and ask them to send a new form and re-open the case.The comments I post are my personal opinion.
