Morning allJust thought I'd start the countdown as mentioned by Izzy. Starting today, 24 days to go!!!! As expected our resignations didn't go down very well. He just turned everything around on us, apparently it's our fault he's incompetent and won't listen to advice about working in such an environment, who knew! It could get messy. Past caring any more.Hope everyone has a good day (my boss isn't in today, again, so I will). {{hugs}} for those who need them x11

Morning all
Chrisca - he sounds like a charmer! Just try to let it wash over you - perhaps a countdown chart on your desk 😂?
Part time job all day today and I have another trainee to ‘train’. The weather looks grim so it’ll be a soggy 10 minute walk from where I park (for free, too stingy to pay to park all day). There’ll be a mix of chores and crafts this evening - slowly chipping away at the to-do lists.AA12 -
Morning folks. It looks a bit damp out there but not forecast to last. And set to reach double figures! Wow.
It's my birthday today - with a bit of luck just 2 more years and I'll be an Octogenarian! How did that happen, I was only 21 last week! I have a day of scoffing ahead. I am meeting my DF for lunch as usual and when the girls finish school we are going out for tea. I think lunch might have to be a light bite or I won't be able to do justice to a big tea! The place DD has booked is renowned for its large portions!
CHRISCA well done! 24 days and counting! Your boss sounds a right pain. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's a damp start, but a bit brighter than yesterday.
Good idea to have a countdown Chrisca, it'll soon go over.
Not a lot going on today, just general house stuff, and tonight we'll go to the quiz.
Thinking of any poorly people, Hope you are doing all right Nanny.
Take care folks.10 -
Morning All
Damp and drizzly again today although there wasn't as much rain yesterday as predicted but it was mighty cold.
Well done Chrisca, the time will fly by.
How lovely Rob is missing you Ruby.
Hope you're recovering well Nan.
My colleague is returning today on a phased return, can't say I'm looking forward to it, the whispering between her and another member of staff will begin again. I'll just get my head down and carry on as I have been doing for the last 3 months or so.
I went for a swim last night that I really enjoyed, I'm going to make a big effort to get back to it most days as it does make me feel better.
There's the picture to collect from the framers after work and another one to drop off, will get some washing put on when I get in.
Have a good day, take care. XX11 -

Good morning everyone
Wet and miserable morning here. Off to see poorly SIL today and then home to the excitement of ironing and tidying.
Dug over my front borders yesterday so the garden looks a little better.
Happy Birthday to TA and Izzy hope you both have a lovely day.
Chrisca - 24 days will fly by and the joy of crossing each one off the calendar will be great.
Nan - hope you're continuing to feel better.
Best wishes to the poorlies, the sad and the worried.
Take care xx

Good morning all.
Happy birthdays to TA and Izzy and now starting the Countdown for Chrisca. Your boss sounds a right charmer!
It's raining again and I have to take my car around the corner for a service and MOT quite soon so will be walking back in the rain. I've noted down a couple of things I think need doing in case I forget to mention them when I hand it over. After that I'll get the bus to MK as I want to get a new baby gift for a friend's first grandchild.
Our walk yesterday was wet and muddy in places and 7.5 miles long - longer than expected! I had a small portion of fish and chips in the pub afterwards to make up for it!
Look after yourselves everyone10
