Abusive Buyer

Options
I posted yesterday about a usb splitter that wasn't working properly. As it was over 30 days I realised after chat on here that I wasn't entitled to anything. But before I posted on here I messaged the seller to ask advice and mentioned that it wasnt working properly. I also had tried to use the eBay help bot about items faulty and queried a return which stated that I could contact the seller which I had done. So after our chat on here I thought lesson learnt 30 days and no comeback.
Until I receive a email from eBay about being an abusive buyer. So I tried to go through the help bots and eventually got through to a person. She asked me if I had used a VPN. I said I had no idea what you are talking about. I asked why I had received this email and she said she can't tell me as fraudsters can use this information to commit more fraud. She also asked me what I sold on eBay and I said a few items of kids clothing and odd bit of toys, nothing much just few things second hand. I asked her what fraud had happened, she couldn't tell me. So I said what I had done in last 24h and she said no nothing to do with last 24h but my account was suspended and not to be reinstated under any circumstances. I asked her if I committed a crime and she said she couldn't say anything. Anyway after saying she could understand my disappointment she couldn't do anything to help. So I asked for the complaint procedure and she said she would put me on hold for a few moments while she sorted this out. When she came back she said I can see you had an automated email and your account isn't suspended but you have had a warning. I said what am I being warned about. She said maybe you have opened too many cases. So I asked Could this be when I had a bad run of watch straps in August that never arrived from china. (I had been through all this with customer service and they had advised me what to do at all stages but communication from the sellers had been misleading) This had all been resolved and eBay seemed ok about it all. I have since bought quite a few items successfully with no trouble. So she said it seems ok now and I said how is it ok when you have accused me of abusive buying. I said I am now actually more upset as you have told me that I am suspended and now it's an automated warning. So I said I can't talk anymore and I hung up.

I know I shouldn't have got upset, and I realise that opening cases isn't ideal but if something isn't right what else can you do.  I try to follow the help guide but it's not always clear. I don't want to use eBay again but would just appreciate some guidance as I really don't want to do anything wrong. Sorry if it's a bit of a rant.
I have had an automated how did we do email. No idea what to do with that.

Thank you and sorry for being a bad ebayer as it seems even tho I have 100% good score for everything else

If you really don't know what has caused your warning, you've either allowed a banned / warned member to use your laptop, or you allowed them to connect to the internet using your hub / connection. This could be your family member brought someone round the house and gave them your internet connection password without you knowing.

She specifically said I hadn't been hacked and I was at fault. She back tracked and implied it was raising return claims even tho she said it was nothing to do with what I had done with regards to this item. She first said I was suspended but then later said it was a warning. It was the way she implied I had committed a crime and been abusive. Which I hadn't done. Any emails are logged within eBay so nothing there. All I had written to the seller was the item isn't working with my mouse and keyboard can you help as it works charging up my phone. I had then tried to use the help bot but got stuck about it being faulty. The thing is it was over 30 days and that's the problem. After 30 days it's tough if something goes wrong, you have no warranty. But if eBay doesn't want to deal with faulty items why not have the help bot just give the reply it's 30 days and we cant help. Amazon help with faulty items so I hadn't realised that eBay doesn't. Most stuff I have bought from eBay is cheap and it's either wrong when it's arrived, or it doesn't turn up at all. I hadn't had this problem before.

No, I didn't say you had been hacked. I gave you a very particular set of circumstances of which there are several versions of circumstances in which your account will become "linked to" another account. It's nothing to do with your recent transaction.

Whatever the reason I can only speculate as the customer service wouldn't tell me anything as if I knew why I might abuse it more. I may never know the reason but it's made me very wary about buying on eBay now.
