Feedback fund portfolio

To my mind the issue is you would like to follow that HL approach, fine that is your choice.
To meet that objective you could have a 1 fund portfolio. Adding lots of other funds then becomes an "investment decision" and contributing nothing to achieving that HL goal.
What are the criteria / reasons for your investment decisions?

My suggestion is to write out your investment strategy, so that your focus can be understood or at least broken down into constituent parts.LightKnow said:Thanks for the feedbacks,
I have since adjusted my funds quite a bit
However no one has given me a reason why some of my funds are not right/worth it
Only that they overlap, or am to random with my portfolio
Yes I seen suggestions from everyone on what alternative funds to go for
And Yes some did overlap or potentially one or two still do
However
When I started working on my funds, I read online and on Hargreaves website that some funds can Aim for positive real-world impacts while generating returns for investors. With that in mind , That's how some funds came about
For example...
I have a requirement to an ESG focus to my investing.
I understand that my personal view of what constitutes ESG may vary from the financial world industry definition, but I am willing to accept that limitation.
I wish to be invested in 100% equities.
I want to be invested across all the world, including smaller companies (adjust accordingly)
I am comfortable in being overweight in esports and agriculture.
My overweight position will form 20% of my portfolio. (adjust or remove as necessary)
I will rebalance back to my 80% / 20% allocation once a year IF the allocation has exceeded 2% points (for example; adjust or remove as necessary).
Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

It is not that any specific fund is not worth owning or inherently bad. Think of it like a recipe for a meal. There are hundreds of ingredients you could choose, all of which may have merit in some circumstances. However, a well-rounded meal will have ingredients chosen to complement one another and the flavours within them are balanced. Rice, pasta, chips and mashed potato are all valid menu choices, but you wouldn't combine them all in a single dish.LightKnow said:However no one has given me a reason why some of my funds are not right/worth it
