Barclaycard 0%

Hello All
A bit disappointed:  I applied for a Barclaycard 0% card after scoring 100% on the MSE eligibility calculator, but it’s been rejected, with no explanation.  Any suggestions?  They’ve given me a postal address to write to them if I think they’ve made a mistake, but it’s hard not knowing why they’ve turned it down.
Thanks!

This is the danger of assuming third parties know whether a lender will like you or not, in reality even "100% re-approved" is just a guess when it's done through a site like MSE that wants commission for successful referral

I would check all 3 credit agencies for anything untoward on your record but worst case apply for a lower tier card if your income is low and/or debts high

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
