They said would be five cars - and said one would be in the garage, but as with many modern 'garages' they couldn't get the doors open of the car to get out as it's a tiny garage so would have to park on the drive.

5 cars sounds like a lot of staff for 2 kids though we don't know their needs.

It's not a lot of cars coming and going during a day though - most will presumably be there for ~12 hour shifts or taking the kids out places, so it's not going to be any busier than most 2+ kid families.

Can they fit 5 cars comfortably without spilling out onto the street?

The implication is that there would be 5 possibly at one time.  We all know that the reality is that many people don't park on drives, but on the street as it's easier to get in and out, especially if they are time pressured.
I'm not going to register a concern but will wait to see the outcome and then decide if I'm going to object or not.
At that point, I would speak to the care company and seeing how they envisage things being as you can't get a clear picture always from applications.
There is a front access drive (there's a small access on the main road on a cul-de-sac with a few disabled and elderly people living in bungalows).  They won't use the front access as there's not enough space, so the one they will most likely use is on our road, which is on a very sharp bend on a relatively busy road.  The reality is that 1920's buildings could not have possibly been built with future use in mind, and many still haven't adapted to this because there simply isn't enough space or the right layout of roads/buildings.  Houses like this one, which was poorly conceived without planning permission from the outset, I feel are an example of this.
