Morning everyone
I've just been reading back over the last couple of days, everyone seems to have had a good time, my laptop was never on over the weekend, which is quite unusual. DD was working all weekend, so little one arrived - with very cold hands- into my bed at about half past 7 on Saturday morning. She thought it was hilarious to snuggle in when she felt so cold! I took her down the hill for her swimming lesson and then we went to Argos to buy a new scooter with 2 wheels - she chose a purple one. I've been selling some of her outgrown toys to pay for it. It was raining when we got home so she rode around the house on it. Back out after lunch as I had an appointment to get my hair cut - little one was good and sat and played with a box of toys. Then a hot chocolate at Costa and the bus over to my mam and dads for tea. It was my dads birthday - little one was so excited that he was 89! DD joined us after work so there were 8 of us for his tea party. Then she dropped little one and I off, she was fast asleep by 7pm.
I was talking to the head teacher when I picked her up from school on Friday, she said 'I hope your dad enjoys his birthday' -little one had told everyone great grandad is going to be 89!
Yesterday was quieter - we did her homework, then back down the hill to mam and dads for a cuppa, back home for lunch. She was shattered so had a nap, then DD picked us up after work and we had a lovely beef casserole she'd left in the slow cooker for tea. Well DD and I did little one was a little madam and refused to eat it, not even the promise of a chocolate eclair would make her eat it. She ended up having a banana!
Back home a lovely hot bath and a chat with eldest DD, then I was in bed by half past 8 - little ones' alarm for her blood sugars went off 3 times in the early hours of Sunday so I was shattered. She said 'Oh I never heard it granny!'
Work at lunchtime though I woke with a headache, so I'd rather go back to bed!
I was pleased to see you're home Nan - make sure you stay on the sofa x
Izzy - pleased you enjoyed your visit to Northumberland, pity it was so cold last week. Enjoy your first week at home as a retired lady x

My hearing was fixed by 8.30 so I could have made it to work but I’ve booked the day off so relaxing now and just watching a bit of tv. I didn’t make soap yesterday so might try and make it today. Just been for a walk to the pharmacy which was quite refreshing. I’m hungry for lunch already!0 bonus saver

Izzy I have had that problem too and after reading other posts on here it seems to be a common problem. Let's hope they soon sort it out xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"5
