Faulty usb hub - can I return or refund

Options

I bought a usb hub from a registered private seller. It has stopped working properly. It states no returns on their item. I have messaged them and said it's not working properly. I have put a request to return it. It's more than 30 days so I am lost or is there anything I can do.

Thanks

Was it new item from a sole trader or a true private sale?

They are registered at a private seller but has 130 of these items to sell and has sold 8.1k items. It states on the item no returns.

Unfortunately eBay will only be interested for 30 days from the last estimated delivery date. If your SNAD claim (and hopefully you did an SNAD and not a change of mind return) then buyer can probably refuse it on time grounds.

The same time limit applies to business sellers as well, but with business sellers you do at least have their address easily available and can contact them outside eBay and if necessary take a legal route.
