Hi all,
My wife and I are looking to go away in may for our wedding anniversary
Is it too late to book anything now and if not then what are the best websites to look at for deals and good prices?
Any help would be appreciated
Kind regards Mark

It might help if you mention areas you want to consider, and a rough budget? Are you looking in the realms for a week in Europe or a two week extravaganza in the Caribbean for instance?I ask because I’ve just got several cracking deals from Easyjet holidays, for instance 5 nights in Malta , flights, luggage, pre booked seats and private taxi transfers all included for around £840.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've often found that the first Monday of the May Holiday weekend is usually cheaper for short haul packages, such as Spain. For example we are booked for Costa del Sol for 10 nights because it was only marginally above the price of 7 nights in the same hotel a couple of weeks later in the month. Not sure why that particular start of May slot is such a relatively good deal - heard a theory that it's because this is the traditional May Day (Labour Day) holiday in Europe and many people prefer to remain at home then and head to sunnier climes a bit later.I'm not convinced if that's the case or not.1

It’s definitely possible to find a holiday in May (I’m still considering whether to go away in April), but the more specific you are on location and price, the fewer options there’ll be.1

It's definitely not too late - it's probably even too early to get a really good package deal! We'll be going away in May but haven't even started to think about booking yet. We usually book a few weeks before going and can get some cracking deals at off peak times particularly if you're not too fussed about where you're going. Try tui, easyjet holidays, jet2 etc. Or book independantly eg using Ryanair and booking.com for hotels.1
