Small claims court for refund due

Does anyone have experience of chasing a refund from a rogue builder via the small claims court? Just wondering how successful it is

I wasn’t sure whether it was worth going down that route; I thought it might affect their credit score or something even if they can’t pay me backuser1977 said:

Credit score is a made up figure by the CRA & is never seen by lenders.Beebabe69 said:

You would need a CCJ to have any real effect on their ability to get any finance.Life in the slow lane0 -
A CCJ would be on their credit record and might cause them problems, but if it's a company which they're going to wind up anyway then they might not care.Beebabe69 said:
