Still grey and unpromising outside but lovely to see some early light. This morning I'm off down to Glasgow again, this time for a belated birthday lunch with late DM's crossword friend. Today is also DM's birthday, she would have turned 96 so a happy / sad day. I'll take the happiness part.Hugs to all.10

Morning All
Dry for now but it's overcast and not very promising. Bedding is in the machine and will be put on the pulley. Bathrooms cleaned and the house is generally tidy.
I'm off to Peebles for the weekend with DD - my Christmas present. We're going to Keilzie Gardens then on to the spa hotel, really looking forward to it.
Hope everyone is well and you have a good weekend. Take care. XX10 -
Good morning,thanks for starting Gers.
It's very cold this morning, yesterday was bitter with a raw wind.
I went to a nearby shopping centre, and had a look round M&S, I saw a coat I liked, I'm thinking about it.
I went in a few more shops then came home, but enjoyed my little outing.
Camelot, Hope you enjoy your weekend, it sounds lovely.
Gers, enjoy your trip to Glasgow.
Hoping Nanny is recovering, and thoughts to anyone else who is not well.
Take care folks.11 -
Happy Saturday
Thanks to those that encouraged my ‘unhermitness’ yesterday, especially Taff. The theatre was good though I’m definitely not enjoying crowds of people - in the auditorium was fine but the foyer before and after was horrid. For anyone that’s interested in something different, they’re a full mask company, so no speaking and everything done through body language - very clever and they also promote inclusivity at their shows https://www.vamostheatre.co.uk/
Today will be dog walking and craft work plus popping to visit a crafty friend. Loads to do before my next craft fair next weekend.Best wishes to all especially Nan who I hope is recovering well.AA

Morning folks. Another drab start here but at least it's fine. I just long for some sunny and warm days to get out and about without being swathed in lots of clothes.
Not a lot going on here and not going out just for the sake of it. I keep looking in the wardrobes with a view to doing some pruning and then the doors get slid shut again with no pruning done! Maybe I will make another attempt today!
Have a good day folks and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. I hope NAN is recovering well. Where has BELLA disappeared to, she hasn't posted for ages. I hope all is well in her world. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning all. We have sunshine here.
Just had some home made granola for breakfast and need to get some more berries to go with it. We're off for a 4 mile geocaching walk once we're ready and then I've recorded the 6N matches to watch when we get back.
Happy Saturday everyone.8 -
Morning! Sunny and not too cold today..We're off out for lunch today as a friend has come back from Germany for a visit and then this evening to OHs mums because his sister has also come for a flying visit. I am full of thoughts of decorating and Getting Things Done so we'll see how well that goes next week as there are only two appointments next week, one for blood and one for the blinds people to come and measure the window we forgot about. To be fair though, even if we hadn't, they wouldn't have been able to get to it. This means another cull of Stuff in the back bedroom. But tomorrow I intend to sit around in my metaphorical pants playing computer games all day. That's my weekendAllie, glad you had a good watch Gers, enjoy the day and the chosen happiness. camelot, sounds lovely also, enjoy! Scarlet, you've got more self control than me but if you need it, and can afford it, get it [ almost a money mantra...] TA, have a nice quiet day...WL, sounds exhausting and fun nan, hope you're recovering in a good way..Bella, where are you? Izzy, have your legs got really short after the walking? hope your husbands knees are holding up...Hope all children are not sick too....Have a good weekend all!Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...8

Morning all
Bright and sunny here which is so nice, more rain due tomorrow so need to make the most of today, we are off to a beach with the dogs for a good walk and then stop in the cafe for tea and cake 😬 big pup can’t go to our local beach as it’s stone and she twists her leg on them while running but we are hoping this one will be ok as it’s sandy fingers crossed 🤞
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and have a rummage after this, we got loads of washing done yesterday and dried on the line it’s so nice to be able to dry outside again.
I saw on FB that Bella is off on holiday atm so she is well and probably just busy with her DGS
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Hello lovely people ! I'm just popping by to say I'm still alive and sort of kicking and now home. The op went well apparently but afterwards my stats were all over the shop and they wouldn't let me home till they were back to normal. Now I just have to wait for the results, thanks taff for the heads up. I'll have the DNurse in everyday now, but as my temp was high again, today I've got anti b's, plus I'm not sleeping.
I've been reading along on my phone but today I've managed to use my laptop. It's awkward to use so I'll post when I feel I can. Today I think I have ants in my pants so I have to twiddle my thumbs like NRA, hope you are still doing well. Himself has taken over the role of doing everything, bless him. He's already put the dw on and done a load in the wm, now he's off to get lunch, but I'm doing the supervising, I can still crack that whip !
Take care all

Afternoon all, back from DGS football, they were playing away and it was very windy and cold. All the parents and GParents were freezing, brr. Called at a sm to get a few bits I needed. Hunkering down for the rest of the day now!Nan- so pleased to see you posting, and hope your recovery goes well. A friend of mine rang last night to say she was home after an op, it was unexpected as they had said 12-15 days and she only went in on Monday but it seems it went well.Camelot enjoy your break.Allie, glad you made your theatre trip, sounds different.Curry for tea tonight, yum!Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
