Is this a solicitor issue (in which case I can ‘hassle’ often) or a probate office issue (in which case I can ask the solicitor to hassle - for a fee!) ? I can’t work out who is holding this up.0 -
@Tatatatata is the solicitor the executor or, is it you that is the executor and you’ve employed a solicitor to complete the job? Asking as you mention letters from banks. If you are not the client the solicitor is not obliged to tell you anything. If you are the client, have you been supplied with a timeline of actions and expected communications?0

The solicitor is the executor. I had PoA but wasn’t an executor. So I handled everything in the last few years which is how I know everything is up to date.
