I am looking to book a cruise in June, which companies have the best deals?? I am checking out Gills Cruises, Cruisedeals and a few others daily but wonder if the high street might have better deals in their sales.

If you can only go on a certain date in June and for peace of mind you want to book it, then go ahead. If you can go anytime then my advice is to wait.
I'm assuming you want to cruise the Med. If you do, there are so many ships doing this trip from Southampton, Barcelona, Palma & Italy that competition is greater this year than previous, so I think its safe to say, that there could be some bargains around. You also need to decide if you want formal or casual, inside, outside, balcony or a suite. I have always booked via the internet rather than the high street and always got a better price. Good Luck, theres a lot to choose from out there and with even more new ships going into the water this year (7) thats a lot of beds to fill so hopefully more bargains. sally

Try travelzoo.com, subscribe to there email - worth it, I enjoy looking at there top 20. Also you will find links to cruise companies offering deals.
When you got a cruise you like the look of finish on teletextholidays.co.uk, pick 2/3 companies and ring them up and play them off each other - there are further small savings to be had.
I've had 2 cruises this year and got good deals.

Booking direct got it a lot cheaper for me than the high street quoted.

From my experience the best place to find the real good cruise deals is in the national press classifieds... usually the daily mail is the best or the express.. worth checking it out this saturday. Dave
