Access for Mac?

Access gets a lot of bad press and it has been missused but its always been useful to quickly import some CSVs, create a little relational db and run queries that would be painful to deal with as v/xlookups in XLS.

I've used MySQL, SQL Server etc for more powerful use and productionised solutions but even "lite" versions feel cumbersome for a bit of desktop analysis (eg comparing two files with a few hundred thousand rows each).

MS Access itself doesn't run on a Mac (M Series) so are there any similar applications that you can quickly create a few tables from external files and is efficient in running queries?

Base, which is part of OpenOffice, is the closest equivalent, which does run on a Mac.
