car insurance for 19 year old

Great...., he has just passed his test, but car insurance seem so very expensive. Any recommendations for a good price? Many thanks Mum

    Many moons ago when I first bought insurance Third Party Fire and Theft, was more expensive than Fully Comprehensive.

    I'd definitely check the costs of both.

    Fully comp my be slightly cheaper, but on a 22 year old car the excess will probably be more than the write off value!
