Great...., he has just passed his test, but car insurance seem so very expensive. Any recommendations for a good price? Many thanks Mum

What are the comparison sites coming back with? And what car?

That sounds quite reasonable to be honest!  Is that with a black box & dashcam?

Fully comprehensive isn't always much more than 3PF&T...

Many moons ago when I first bought insurance Third Party Fire and Theft, was more expensive than Fully Comprehensive.

I'd definitely check the costs of both.

Fully comp my be slightly cheaper, but on a 22 year old car the excess will probably be more than the write off value!
