I'm pretty sure there are a whole army of scammers with production lines claiming they once owned every VW on Auto Trader, have a lifetime subscription to the Save the Polar Bears Society etc etc and therefore want their cut.facade said:Shieldpay is supposed to be legitimate, but we are warned to run a mile when escrow is mentioned, I wonder if this is being done to put people off claiming for a while, so that their money sits in a bank account earning interest?
Perhaps there needs to be some 'verification' process to rule out said scammers when it comes to handing over the readies...?
