the rental agreement doesn't say anything. Gas is included in the rent for all tenants in the building . Heating has a timer that the landlord sets. We can't change it , the timer is locked away.Alnat1 said:Just curious, does your rental agreement state that the landlord can decide when you have heating, maybe set hours that are written into the contract?
I could understand there being a thermostat fitted that limited the temperature but if it simply states that heating costs are included in rent, surely they can't turn the heating on and off whenever they want.
Typical landlord will always set the heating the minimum hours he can.0 -
electricity is not included. I don't want to use a heater, I'm pre-payment , too expensivemarkin said:Is the elec included also? just use a small heater outside the room.
If your a tenant and not a room mate in his house then you should have 24/7 heating under your control.
Is communal heating for all flats in the building, we don't have individual heating and because it's included in the rent, landlord will keep it to a minimum . At the moment is not on for more than 5 hours a day.0
