N180 Advice Please

Hi All.
After having previously experienced the wonderful advice and people of this site many years ago I find myself back. Just a quick question if I may, I have gone through the process of the game and found myself at the DQ stage. I have received a paper copy from CNBC which is somewhat different to the download copy Online. Main section missing from the paper copy is “Suitability for determination without a hearing” So do I scan and email the paper copy or fill out the online version and give reason as to why I wish to have a hearing in person.

Thanks in advance.

    You can use either.
Clearly you can use the one that the CNBC have sent you - it would be silly if that's not accepted, or you can use one downloaded from the .gov.uk website.

Thanks Keith. Would you think the online version is better as it gives me the choice of the in person hearing. My thinking is along the lines of as the paper copy doesn’t have the option they could opt for a on papers only hearing.

I would go with the online version. Clearly it is the newer version and I would even suggest that the CNBC sending out a Directions Questionnaire form that was superceded in summer 2022 is a mistake on their part.

100% agree. Thank you for confirming what my instincts were telling me.
  • Should I have received a copy of the Claimants DQ as MCOL status is they received it on 1st March.

Who is 'they'? The Claimant or CNBC?
The Claimant has 28days to send their completed DQ to the CNBC and you.
But it really is a non-event. You will learn next to nothing from the Claimant's DQ.

“They” Meaning CNBC. Thanks Keith just needed to know if the Claimant should be sending me a copy. CNBC have received my DQ and have transferred to my local court. So next up will be WS.
