RumRat said:The problem you have there is that the older OLED doesn't get as bright as say a QLED which is better in a bright room visually.0

Ours is besides patio window so in full sunlight when not in use... again no problems to date. It sound like you are reading too much old Samsung anti-OLED muck spreading which stopped last year when they launched their own OLED screens.0

Do the OLEDs suffer from DSE (dirty screen effect) less than the regular LED TV's? My 13 year old edge lit Samsung had terrible clouding all over it on dark scenes. The Hisense mini-LED TV that I had for a short time whilst great on dark scenes had terrible vertical stripes running down it, most noticeable on panning shots of things like grass and sky. Is this also the case with OLED, or less so?(I'm not saying all LED TV's have DSE / stripes / clouding but some of them do, and it can be complete pot luck whether you get a good panel or not - I'm wondering if the same is true of OLED technology or not)0
