Replacing glass in UPVC windows

The problem I have is refitting the bead strips particulary the short ones I think you first get one end in then using rubber hammer knock it in but its there the trouble starts you almost have to bend the bead into a U before it will go in then its creased, any ideas from you experts.

Put the short ones in first, then the long ones, make sure they are completely in the corners then tap home with plastic headed hammer.0

Try to do it on a warm day when the plastic is more pliable. Also, if you are replaceing the glazing tape (if you have glazing tape) then be sure to use the right thickness. There is a world of difference between 3mm and 4mm.0
