UFH in old house

Just to follow up on this.
The extension was started in March 2025, and finished July 2025.
I have tradional wet UFH (pipes in screed) in the new extension dining area, and retrofit in the kitchen+utility parts, and also the hallway. The retrofit was over suspended wooden flooring.
All works very well. Warm and cosy all winter. The types of UFH work well together, and are fast to react. The main difference is between areas with high levels of insulation, and those without. In the latter, the heating turns on and off more frequently, but otherwise works well. The flow temperature is only about 30⁰C. The remaining radiators are at about 40⁰ and hear the lounge study and bedrooms perfectly well.
