Ring doorbell cancellation / renewal issue

Just seen the advice to cancel and renew to avoid the price hike, so I did.However, when I renewed I see that When it renews on 05.04 i will be billed at the higher cost of £4.99 . Have I done it wrong?

Yes, you have. You need to tell it to cancel immediately, get the pro-rata refund and re-subscribe. A more sensible option would probably be to dump the Ring doorbell and buy a Eufy doorbell which has no subscription. It would pay for itself in a couple of years and is what I did.0
