Hi all
Out of the blue I got a letter from Lowell saying they have a debt in my name they say they had a CCJ but it was over 14 years old and the number on the CCJ don't exist I done a search and not a thing on the court regester any ideas please.

Send them a letter saying the debt is statute barred and you won't be paying.1

You could send them a letter to say given that it was 14 years back it would be statute barred even if it was your debt. And tell them to delete you address from their system and as any further correspondence will be construed as harassing you.
Do NOT ring them as that will just give you a way to blight your life.
