Parking Charge Notice

Hi all

Thank you in advance, if you are able to help me. I parked in The Wharf 16 Bridge St and got a parking fine. I did not understand the instructions. Can this company Premier Parking Enforcement Ltd take you to court or give you CCJ? Or not. My husband is getting worried.  Shall I send a picture of the letter would that help. I have had private parking ticket once before I kept ignoring and it stopped coming as they changed the fine amount high and then low so realised it is fake.

    It is not a fine.

Please start by reading the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES that will answer most of your questions without you having to ask them.

Yes, the PPC can take the driver to court of they know who it is, or take the keeper to court if the PPC has issued a PoFA compliant NTK.
No, they can't give anyone a CCJ, but a CCJ can be granted by a court if a motorist is taken to court, loses, and fails to pay the judgment within the court mandated period. Since this is within the control of the defendant, they have every opportunity to prevent a CCJ, even if they lose a court case.

Do not reveal the driver's identity.

Plan A is always a complaint from the keeper to the landowner and the keeper's MP.

Plan B is an appeal using the template in blue text from the NEWBIES.

If you are unsure whether the NTK is or is not PoFA compliant and capable of holding the keeper liable, please post a copy of both sides here. Redact ALL personal data including VRM, name, address, and PCN number, but leave the location and dates showing.

You know the page you were on when you clicked on Create New?  There were several "pinned" or "sticky" threads marked with a blue banner called ANNOUNCEMENT, one of those is the NEWBIE sticky and it even starts ***NEWBIES please read this first.  Click on it, scroll to the top and start reading from there and you will find Plan A.
You complain to your MP but you could copy in the MP for the area covering the car park.

No need. We never do that.

You posted this right under my signature, which tells you where one of the links on this page is.
