O/S Daily Tuesday 5 March 2024

Morning all, the sun is out today but I was cold in the night and had to put another blanket on. Today will be my last post for a while as we have to leave about 6am tomorrow and my head will be in the shed anyway. Not looking forward to tomorrow one little bit and I will be glad when it's all over and I can come home. 
Today I'm back at the big hospital for a lunchtime appointment but DD will be taking me as Mr Fix It has his oncology injection and he can't miss that. He's already taking good care of me and cooking up a storm, trouble is the portions are rather big " cos I need to keep my strength up" 🙄 I shall be about the size of a house in a couple of months 😂
Thankyou for all your condolences re Mr Fix It's uncle and sadly I'll most probably miss the funeral. 🙁
Gers sorry I missed that your neighbour has passed away too, many condolences. Hope the dentist goes ok.
dp1 hope things go well for your little one and she's without the milk feeds.
TA sorry to read about little dog, that's very sad. Hope you get your lunch, it may cheer your friend up.
Scarlett hope the hospital appointment goes well today.
Snoozer hope everyone is resting after all the turmoil.

Not a lot happening here waiting to see if DBIL/SIL turn up today as they didnt last time we shell see 

We have booked a few days away at the end of April for a friend's birthday so something to look forward to hoping we get some better weather.

Morning! No appointments now this week for a change so very pleased about that but I do have a to do list as long as your arm..My own fault, I keep adding things to it. Planing a trip to ikea tomorrow to look at their kitchens. I've asked OHs mum if she wants to join, she loves a candle Today is also a going out day, I need to get some stuff printed off, and get some herbs and spices, I used up a few of mine last night making a curry powder mix. Obviously, more cooking for fun is also planned.

Nanny, my condolences to you both, and fingers crossed for zero complications tomorrow. Scarlet, finers crossed for you too. snoozer, the world of children is just one big pot of germs isn't it, hope he recovers quickly and Esthers scan is clear. Allie good luick to you too, I could tell you about the time of the rabbit but I fear that would completely put you off...although it is funny  not for the rabbit obviously] so maybe tomorrow...Take care today all, we have mild and sort of sunny weather, I may even try to dry some stuff on the line...

Hope everyone else is ok and Izzy is having a good holiday ,so pleased she was given flowers and a card .

Just a quick check in to wish Nan all the best for tomorrow and hope all goes well. Condolences on your loss.
Sorry to hear about your friend and neighbour Gers.
Hope Esther and Esben are ok.
Glad to hear little one is improving Dp1.
It is quite pleasant here in the sun. The garden is beginning to call so maybe some tidying and digging over of the veg plot will happen.
Best wishes to the poorlies, the sad and the worried.

Afternoon all, quite nice here so we've been doing a few jobs outside and talked to the neighbours for the 1st time in weeks. Also been doing a lot of shredding before our paper bin collection goes to once a month

Nan, wishing you good luck for your op tomorrow, and condolences for you both with elderly relative.

I had a trip down the road to As da so won't need a delivery this week, bit cheaper too. Spent some time batch cooking mince to freeze, thanks TA for the reminder  

Snoozer, oh no, never rains but pours. Hope you don't catch whatever it is.

I might go for a walk shortly, make the most of the sun. Take care all x

Good afternoon All.

My car passed its MOT with no adviseries so very happy. Mabel my dog has been groomed and looks very good but is now sulking at me.

Leftover chilli for dinner or salmon will see what ds2 wants to eat. We have his PIP hearing next week. I have sent in all his hospital letters and they are upholding that if it is awarded it will be back dated to March last year. 

Well just to keep you updated, I’m still talking to my date man, however with my work schedules & his, we have not yet managed to meet again, hopefully next week.

Nanny - will be thinking of you tomorrow, hope all goes well. Sending condolences on the loss of Mr Fix its Uncle.
DP1 glad your dgd managed a full day at school and she seems to be eating again.
Snoozer hope everything comes back clear for Esther & that Esben is soon better. Hope you and Steve avoid any germs.

I am back to work tomorrow so will be an early night tonight. Got 2 days & 3 nights to do then on a few days off. I’m off on holiday for 6 days the week after, I am so looking forward to a bit of sunshine & a break from DS2. I need to recharge my batteries.

Thanks too for all the good wishes for little one -  she's seen her dietician this afternoon, who was happy she's eating again so she's taken her back off the milk feeds. She seems to be back to normal now - big sigh of relief!
