Morning All
I think the weather is to turn wet this afternoon, shame as we have had some lovely days, the sunshine yesterday was very welcome.
Sorry to hear of your neighbour Gers. Glad you had a great time with your family.
Great to hear that little Esther is home snoozer.
You sound so busy Nanny, sad news of Mr Fix It's Uncle.
The house is clean and tidy after the little one's visit overnight on Saturday, she was as good as gold and left here to go to a party - little ones have such a hectic social life!
Work is as busy as ever, I think me being on my own is the new normal!
Hope everyone is well, have a good day. Take care. XX10 -
Morning - as Camelot said, it's back to grey clouds, high winds and rain here today. The weekend weather was dry and sunny although cold.I was very pleased that the weather was so good for my Oz visitors, the Brit was better prepared. Yesterday I spent a good chunk of the morning separating rubbish, beer bottles mixed with beer cans and cardboard in with general waste. Boy, can my youngest nephew drink, I'm always stunned at this. After that I did a washing load, sat down to do my monthly and weekly banking which I didn't finish. I went to bed very early and slept for 10 hours straight. This morning I'm heading down to Glasgow for my postponed dental appointment, just the hygienist this time. I'll detour across to Costco for loo rolls (and nothing else) and then straight home.I'll catch up later on, meanwhile I hope that all is mostly well. Condolences to Nan's Mr Fix it for his uncle.10

Good morning, looks damp out there this morning, yesterday was a nice day though.
I'm glad that Esther is home Snoozer, I hope that she continues to improve.
It's sad about your elderly neighbour Gers, but good that you enjoyed the family visit.
I' ve got a hospital appointment this morning, it's a routine check on a chronic digestive problem, but they're trying out a new test so I have to go to the hospital at Darlington for it, instead of Durham, so it's further away.
I was thinking of packing a sandwich to eat on the way home, my appointment is 11.15 and I can't have anything eat for 6 hrs beforehand. Hope they are running to time. It'll take us about 45 mins to get home.
That's today's main event, then we'll go to the quiz tonight as usual.
Hope everyone has as good a day as they can, thinking of any poorly/ sad people.
Take care folks.12 -

Popping some borrowed craft supplies to a friend on my way back.Sea bass for dinner but they need filleting 😲 and still have 👀…….. will have to put my big-girl pants on - once their heads are off I can deal better with them 😂😂

Morning all
Back to rain here this morning I am longing for a few bright spring days it’s also quite cold so have put the heating on for a while. Two guests coming today Rob is still off I will phone his mum tonight and see if there is any improvement, we had planned a walk on the beach and a cuppa in the cafe but it will be miserable today in the pouring rain so will think again when they get here, both of them are easy going and are happy with most things.
Dinner tonight will be something involving chicken, tapenade and green beans will make something up later I have some bits I want to use up.
I need to hoover through and have a quick tidy but it won’t take me long.
Nanny sorry to hear about Mr fix it’s uncle xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning all. Dull but dry here today.
I hope Izzy's having a good holiday up in Northumberland. She won't know what to do with herself when she gets back
My trip to Oxford on the bus yesterday took almost 2 hours and I was a bit fed up with the diesel by the time we arrived. I did have a nice wander round though and went to the Jericho area, where a lot of Morse was set, plus explored the Covered Market.
Today I'm off to help DD with a bit of child care and then we'll probably go out for coffee/lunch.
Hope everyone's day goes well.11 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. No weather of note here- no rain, wind, snow, hail or fog! Just total cloud cover and none too warm. Yesterday was lovely in the sun but blooming cold out of it. It was lovely seeing people sitting in the sunshine at the outdoor cafe tables. Hope of better weather to come is on the horizon!
All being well it's lunch with DF today. She had a sad day yesterday as the poorly dog she has been fostering, with a view to adopting, took a turn for the worse yesterday and had to be put to sleep. I have told her to cancel if she isn't feeling up to it and I'll delay getting ready for a while just in case. Meanwhile I'll potter on with a few little jobs.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad, lonely or bereaved. There are lots of worries on here just now. SNOOZER, good to hear Esther is doing well. SCARLET hope the hospital visit is uneventful, Safe drive GERS. And just in case NAN doesn't get on here in the morning I hope the op goes well tomorrow. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning everyone
Dull and drizzly here this morning. Yesterday turned out to be a lovely sunny day.
Little managed the whole day at school yesterday, I saw her briefly and she told me she had eaten all her lunch up so DD didn't have to go to give her a milk feed. She has an appointment with the dietician this afternoon so hopefully she'll be taken back off them.
Nothing else happening of any interest I'm afraid....just hoping to get through the next few weeks without taking any more days off work.
Hope everyone has a good day x12 -
Hi everyone,
You couldn't make my life up at the moment. Esben started vomiting last night poor little man. Laura is afraid that Esther might catch it if it's a different virus to the one she had. Luckily they didn't see Esben after he went to school in the morning because they were at the hospital until 8.30 last night. Esther had the MRI scan but they haven't had the results yet, they were told that if anything of significance had been seen they would have been told though so fingers crossed.
Brian explained to Esben the importance of Esther not getting ill again and he's being a little trouper. He asked for me to go to his bedroom door so he could tell me what had happened and I stepped into the room so I could see him and he held up his hand to stop me going any further. He seems in good spirits though.
Nanny, my condolences to you and Mr Fix-it.
Have a good day.11
