No water coming out of hot tap.

Any ideas what is the problem here. This morning when the shower was running I was downstairs and thought the pipes sounded a little weird compared to how it normally sounds when the shower is going.
Came home today and turned on the hot tap and almost no water was coming out the hot tap.
I took the tap apart and it made no difference so it's not the tap as far as I can tell. Since reattaching the tap the water is coming out slower than before.
We have insane pressure which means a quarter turn is all I normally need, but turned on full and it dribbles out.
All other hot taps in the house work as they should.

You might have an air lock in the pipes. Turn the hot tap fully open, block off the end with a rag and turn the cold tap fully open.1

Thanks, I tried that as best I could but it didn't seem to do anything 😕 I couldn't get the cold tap more than a turn on though because the pressure was too strong to keep my hand over it.stuart45 said:You might have an air lock in the pipes. Turns out that the valve was turned off! The plumber was convinced someone must have turned it off but the panel has been glued on for 2 years...
My son must have jumped in the bath so much that it worked itself closed over the years.1 -

Indeed, glad it is sorted.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0
