Is 45-75mins a normal commute these days?

I’ve never had a commute shorter than 45 mins, even when I lived in the nearest torn to my workplace. Now I do a 3 hour commute each way, twice a month. What’s reasonable depends on how often you need to do it and how much you want the job

I had a couple of jobs where it was an hour drive, one where public transport was not an option and the other where public transport would have doubled the journey time, and it was something you get used to.  Last job was a case of looking out the bedroom window to see if the place was still there before I bothered getting dressed

Hubby's last job was 90+ mins each way, he has now got a new job that is 25 mins each way!
