Ebay notifications problem

I've suddenly stopped getting notifications from ebay. Total silence on both my phone (text) and my pc (emails).

I've checked that notifications are set (I'd not made any changes).

I tried to verity my mobile number and the verification code did not come through.

I tried to verify my email but the verification code did not come through.

I changed my email from a btinternet one to a gmail one and got the "we are sending a verification code" message, but no code arrived.

Anyone else having problems with ebay notifications?

I had this recently, it lasted for a day or so and affected all verification codes coming through - I received none although I still got texts as usual.  It turned out to be an issue with a local phone mast; I'm with O2 so I used the app to discover there was a problem and asked to be notified when it was fixed at which point I received all the "stacked" verification codes.  What's really odd is that my OH was unaffected despite being on the same network and also using an iPhone.
