There's no such benefit as New style UC. It's either UC, which I thought you were already claiming or New style JSA or ESA. If it's New style JSA are you aware that this will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement?

Do you have to bring ID or anything like that? It never sail about anything required?

A quick google search usually gets the answer. https://www.gov.uk/jobseekers-allowance/your-jsa-interview

Well it depends on what it is your actually claiming. If it's an interview for New Style JSA or ESA, you would have had a phone call or a letter advising what you needed.
If it's for UC, then it should show on your to-do list.

I think it’s just regular UC and it does show on to do list

its light touch so I thought there was no need to go to JC?

has there been a change in legislation?

You may have fallen between regimes, so possibly in intensive when booked and then changed to light touch or you just may no longer be in light touch.

What are the light touch requirements please?

it seems some do qualify for light touch but are still having work search requirements imposed.

this needs to be challenged they are going against the rules

The relevant question here is what are your requirements as the outcome of your appointment?

You seem to spend a lot of time worried about what others are having to do but that's not really relevant to you.
