I have a long(ish) flight coming up later in the year and I'd like to have something to listen to.
What device do people use to do this and how do you get it onto your chosen device??

iPhone with something like apple music - you get a month free, just download a couple of albums and remember to cancel

I pay a monthly subscription to Spotify so use that for my music and podcasts on my android phone. If I'm travelling I can download things in advance.
What device do you have and do you pay for any subscriptions currently?

I use an mp3 player for battery length. A couple of days worth.
It also doesn't slide off my lap if I doze off. It's small, saves my phone battery.

Podcasts mostly BBC sounds or CD stories/comedy. Downloaded to laptop and dropped into the mp3

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

The only device I have is my Android mobile phone and the only subscription I have is the basic Amazon music one £4.99 a month.
I had an Ipod nano back in the day, so may look into an MP3 player.

Maybe listen to books on sites like librivox. Or maybe project gutenberg.
