ii Regular Investing and its timing with fund purchases

I've been with ii for a few years now but have never made use of its free Regular Investing option and have a question that hopefully someone may have the answer to as I'd like to time the buying and selling of a fund across different platforms without the cost of a specific purchase on ii.
Let's say that the next regular investment date is the 6th March, if you decide to buy a tracker fund e.g. HSBC FTSE All World Index or Fidelity Index World, then is the instruction sent early enough to buy at that days valuation price which will be at midday, or do you typically get the next day's valuation price i.e. the 7th March?
Many thanks.

regular investing is driven by fixed dates - that what keeps the price down. My DD is taken on the 12th and the investment is made on 20th this month

So it looks like you've been with ii for longer than me and so your investment is made on the third Wednesday of the month (newer customers like me are on the first Wednesday). Are you buying shares or funds with your investment? If funds then what date is the fund actually purchased on, i.e. are they purchased using the Wednesday valuation price or the Thursday valuation price?

With shares I can see that they'll be bought at some time on the Wednesday, but the help page doesn't specify for funds when the purchase instruction will be sent to the fund house, from which I could deduce on what day the fund is likely to be bought.

I buy funds. The document always says noon but the date varies.
If you want a specific, in Feb I bought HSBC Global Strategy Dynamic Acc - it says on 21st and the price was 3.027999701

In case anyone comes across this thread in the future, for this particular purchase of Fidelity Index World the ii order list shows the fund as being ordered at just after 4 AM on the regular investment date and the purchase itself (of a fund with a valuation time of midday) was also made on that day. Obviously this could change in the future, but it seems that at least for now that the ii processes are quick enough to buy the fund using the regular investment date's valuation point.
