Hi all, please could someone advise me. I have a claim form in the post but I was late in doing the AoS. Issue date is 12/Feb but I am only now getting round to respond. Should I still do the AoS or just wait until the next step?

PLease helpWith a Claim Issue Date of 12th February, you have until Monday 4th March - tomorrow - to file an Acknowledgment of Service. To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 18th March 2024 to file your Defence. That's over two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -

Good. As KeithP says, you weren't late.
Now, why was the car in a blue badge bay & what caused the PCN?

I drove my sister to the shopping centre and she has parkingsons and a valid blue badge. I think I must not have placed the badge correctly with the timer. This is the first I am hearing of it as I did not get a PCN in the post or windscreen.

OK so that goes in as your paragraph 3 but DON'T include "think I must not have placed the badge correctly with the timer".
And the medical condition is Parkinson's.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
